Crypto exchange Gemini, founded by Tyler Winklevoss and Cameron Winklevoss, is ready to pay a base salary of $275,000 to top security engineers in the US.
The crypto firm is hiring a Principal Platform Security Engineer in the US with a base salary of up to $275,000 per annum. The successful candidate will be required to be in person twice a week at either of Gemini’s Seattle or New York City offices.
The applicants are required to have more than 10 years of experience in the field.
“The Platform Security team covers a broad problem space that includes all areas of Gemini’s platform infrastructure. In the past, this team has focused specifically on cloud security and we continue to invest heavily in this area,” Gemini mentioned in its job description.
“This role will bring additional depth and specialization in non-cloud infrastructure, containerization, and container orchestration security. We also value expertise in neighboring areas of infrastructure and platform security engineering including: PKI, core cryptography, identity management, network security,” the company added.
In addition to the base salary of up to $275,000, Gemini is also offering a discretionary annual bonus and a long-term incentive in the form of a new hire equity grant.
