Evgeny Gaevoy’s Wintermute is hiring traders in London and Singapore

Evgeny Gaevoy’s proprietary trading crypto market maker Wintermute is expanding its team across London and Singapore with the hiring of top traders.

Wintermute’s London office is looking for an algorithmic trader with strong coding skills, according to its job posting.

“You will have the opportunity to develop your own product (trading algorithms, trading strategies), while also getting advice and guidance from very experienced traders and developers, including the founders and management team,” the company mentioned in the job description.

“After a short training period, you’ll be tasked with improving existing strategies, adding new trading products, and improving the technology behind our trading systems. You’ll need to analyze large amounts of trading and transaction data, generate insights, prioritize them, and build solutions based on your findings,” Wintermute said.

The company is also offering UK work permits for the job, along with help in relocation.

Among other trading roles in its London office, Wintermute is hiring a quantitative researcher and a trading analyst.

In Singapore, Wintermute is planning to expand its team with the hiring of an OTC trader.

“We are looking for someone with a strong background in OTC and a proven track record in sales trading. As a Sales Trader, you will play a crucial role in OTC business growth by trading and expanding relationships with Wintermute trading counterparties,” Wintermute said.

For the Singapore role, Wintermute is offering a hybrid working model.
