Galaxy, a digital asset manager led by former Goldman Sachs partner Michael Novogratz, is hiring an expert to trade US-listed equities and options.
The New York-based job requires the successful candidate to execute US-listed listed equities, ETFs, and listed options orders on behalf of Galaxy’s institutional clients.
Galaxy will pay a base salary of up to $200,000 per year in addition to an annual bonus and equity incentives.
The trader will “contribute to the build-out and enhancement of Galaxy’s broker-dealer execution capabilities in US-listed markets, a new business line for the firm with a focus on the growing number of equities and ETFs with exposure to the crypto ecosystem.”
Galaxy requires candidates to have at least four years of experience in cash equities and equity options trading. They also need to have series 7 and 63 licenses.
“This role reports directly to the Head of Equity Options Sales and Strategy as part of Galaxy’s broker-dealer unit, a new business line,” Galaxy mentioned on its website.
Founded in 2018, Galaxy has almost $7 billion in assets on its platform. Galaxy also has more than 1,300 institutional trading counterparties, making it one of the world’s leading liquidity providers in the digital asset space.
